Summary of Contest
This contest is a College Football Bowl Contest. You will be picking the winners of the 2008-2009 college football bowl games. You will be trying to make as many correct picks as possible. The player that makes the most correct picks wins the contest. If nobody wins the pool outright then the winner will be determined in the following order.
- The picksheet with the most correct game picks.
- The picksheet with the closest prediction to the total final score (both teams combined) in the BCS Championship Game. You will enter a prediction on the picksheet.
What is the "Correct Game Pick"?
You will try to pick the team that wins the game. If you pick the winning team, then you made the correct pick for that game. All that matters is which teams wins the game. The betting line ("spread") is not taken into consideration.
Deadline for New Picksheets
The deadline for adding new picksheets is Saturday, December 20th at 9:30 AM ET.
One Picksheet Limit
Limit of one picksheet per player and one player per email address. Submitting multiple picksheets using multiple Login IDs is not allowed and may result in all of your picksheets being disqualified.
Deadline for Editing Picksheets
Once you have added a new picksheet, you can change your picks as many times as you like prior to the deadline. The deadline for making changes to your picksheets is Saturday, December 20th at 9:00 AM ET. If there any games that are played before the deadline, you will not be able to change the pick after the game starts.
Special Circumstances
Technical problems
Due to the nature of the internet, the contest website may not be available at all times. It may be especially difficult to connect to the website as gametime nears due to high traffic volume. Therefore, you are encouraged to complete your picksheet as early as possible (remember, you can modify the picksheet as many times you want until the deadline.) The contest commissioner is not responsible for website malfunction.
